This program is designed for children in Kindergarten – 2nd Grade.
Students continue building their listening skills, coordination, and balance. We introduce the martial arts concepts of respect, self-discipline, and self-control. Basic stranger-danger and self-defense concepts are also reviewed. Filipino Martial Arts is introduced at around years into training if the student has not yet moved to the Youth program.
This program is designed for 3rd – 8th Graders.
Students will learn and practice basic techniques (kihon), forms (kata), sparring (kumite), and self-defense. Filipino Martial Arts begins after 12-18 months of training. Aikido, Krav Maga, Yaw-Yan Kickboxing techniques, and concepts are introduced and practiced throughout the program. Respect, self-discipline, and self-control are reinforced.
This program is designed for ages 14 and up.
The curriculum is the same as the youth program – kihon, kata, kumite, self-defense, with Filipino Martial Arts and Aikido added after 1-2 years of training. Adults are expected to train more rigorously. Proper execution of techniques and their application are emphasized. Teen/Adult martial arts students may also attend the FMA and Krav Maga classes from their first day of enrollment.
The core of the program is Modern Arnis, created by the late-great Professor Remy A. Presas.
Training is comprehensive, encompassing weaponry, empty-hand, and grappling techniques.
Our FMA program is for Teens and Adults (ages 14 and up).
We are a certified Zohar Tactical Krav Maga facility! Krav Maga is a no-nonsense approach to personal protection.
The classes are designed for reality self-defense and close quarter combat. Get in shape and have FUN!
Our Krav Maga program is for Teens and Adults (ages 14 and up).
Aikido can be interpreted as the Way of Spirit and Harmony or the Art of Peace, however, it is a serious martial art that can be very effective in self-defense with techniques that focus on joint locking, throwing, and pinning.
The tenets of Aikido are personal self-control and learning to accept an attack and defuse the attack with little or no injury to the attacker.
Our Aikido program is for Teens and Adults (ages 14 and up)
