FAQ

Home FAQ
Q: What are the benefits of studying martial arts?
A: There are many benefits gained during the study of martial arts. In addition to learning techniques for self-defense, the physical benefits include improvements in: general health/fitness, eye-hand-foot coordination, strength, flexibility, agility, balance, and endurance. The mental benefits include improvements in: concentration, confidence, attitude, self-control, stress relief, awareness.
Q: Is martial arts training dangerous?
A: Our goal is to provide a safe environment where students learn the skills they can use to physically defend themselves. Students are taught self-control and responsibility and are strictly prohibited from using martial arts techniques outside of the dojo unless it is absolutely necessary.
Q: Am I too old for martial arts?
A: You are never too old to begin studying martial arts! With our program you are able to challenge yourself, while going at your own pace. If you have concerns about physical limitations due to age or otherwise, please contact us and we will work with you in order to accommodate your needs.
Q: Is my child old enough to start classes?
A: Our Lil’ Warriors Program is for children ages 4-7.
